Damage Policy and Procedures
1. In order for the W.C. Wood Company, Inc. to provide a damage allowance,
according to your contract, for damaged freezers:
a. The W.C. Wood Co. Damage Claim Form must be completely filled out
(i.e. correct
serial #, model #, indicate the location of
damage, ect.).
b. Complete the form electronically or fax completed damage claim form
to 419-523-4826.
c. A credit will be issued and sent to the billing address on the account.
2. If damage is limited to the door area, W.C. Wood Company, Inc. has the
option of
shipping out a replacement door.
a. W.C. Wood Company, Inc. will not issue a damage allowance in addition
to providing a replacement door.
3. Grace period for any damage allowance is 90 days from the time W.C. Wood
Company
invoices the product. Any units that are submitted for
damage allowances over the 90
day grace period will be denied.
4. All damage claims are subject to verification by W.C. Wood Company or its
agents upon
request.
5. W.C. Wood Company, Inc. will not be responsible for damages incurred after
the initial
delivery point specified on the Bill of Lading.
Return Policy
1. All returns require a Return Authorization issued by the W.C. Wood Company
2. W.C. Wood reserves the right to hold merchandising funds as payment for
unauthorized
returns or deductions.
